What we collect,
and what we don't.

What this covers

This policy explains what Roofing University collects when you use roofing-university.com, why we collect it, who else touches it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Roofing University is powered by AiEstimate.org, which is the seller of record for every enrollment.

What we collect

When you fill in the opt-in form

• First name, last name and email address. That is the entire form. We do not ask for a phone number, because we do not call or text anyone.

When you enroll

• Name, email and billing details collected on the checkout page.
• We never see or store your full card number. Card data goes directly to Stripe, our payment processor. We receive a confirmation, the last four digits and the card brand — nothing else.

When you use the course

• Your login session is held by the course platform so you stay signed in on that device. You log in with the email address you bought with.
• Standard web server logs kept by our host: IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps.

What we do not collect

• Phone numbers. We are email-only.
• Social security numbers, government IDs or financial account numbers.
• Any information about anyone under 18. This course is sold to working adults in the construction trades. If you believe a minor has given us information, email us and we will delete it.

Why we collect it

• To deliver what you bought. Creating your student login and sending your onboarding email and course updates.
• To answer you. Support requests you send us.
• To market the course. If you opted in, we send training email and course offers. Every marketing email has a working unsubscribe link. Use it and you stop hearing from us — but transactional email about a course you already paid for still gets through.
• To keep the site working and to spot abuse.

Who else handles your data

We use a small number of vendors. They only get what they need to do their job, and they are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone outside the list above except where the law requires it or where we need to enforce our terms.

Cookies and tracking

The course site sets no advertising cookies and carries no ad pixels. We do not run Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising network's tracking.

We do run one first-party analytics script, provided by GoHighLevel, the CRM listed above. It records which pages are viewed and which campaign link brought you here (the utm_source and utm_campaign tags you may see in a link). If you later fill in the opt-in form, that visit is connected to your contact record so we know which email or ad actually helped. It is not shared with advertisers and it is not used to build a profile of you anywhere else on the internet.

We also track whether our own emails to you are opened and whether their links are clicked. That is standard for any mailing list and it is how we know what is worth sending. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe.

The only browser storage we use for the course itself is the localStorage entry that keeps you signed in. The opt-in form is embedded from GoHighLevel and the checkout page is hosted by GoHighLevel and Stripe; those pages follow their own cookie practices.

How long we keep it

• Students: for as long as your lifetime access lasts, plus whatever period our tax and accounting records require.
• Leads who never enrolled: until you unsubscribe, or after a long period of no engagement.
• Server logs: a short rolling window set by our host.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from any marketing email using the link at the bottom of it.
• Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
• Ask us to delete your data. If you are an enrolled student, deleting your record also ends your access — we cannot verify a purchase we no longer have a record of.

Email support to make any of these requests. We will respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live — California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, the EU and UK among others — you may have additional statutory rights; tell us what you are asking for and we will honor it.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS and our vendors are established providers with their own security programs. No system is perfect, and we will not pretend otherwise. Do not send us anything sensitive by email that you would not want sitting in an inbox.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes get an email to enrolled students.
